Peru Just Got SHINE!

We (Maquis) have arrived in Peru...
After a very long and tiring trip from Santiago to Arica we crossed the into Peru in a ´border taxi´type of vehicle and are now waiting for the second part of our trip to begin. Because the 39 hours sitting in a bus wasn´t quite enough, we are getting ready for the next 20 hours of butt-flattening, Spanish-movie-watching fun!!
I will see if sometime I can upload some entertain pictures for ya´ll later on.

Going through the Promissed Land(Peru);

All the guys in the home insist on leaving this personal note to you: May the G-ds open your eyes to the truth, and give you entrance into the Holy Land (Peru). May The Goddess Mama Olla give you some "shine", as she has granted us Basurto men.

Thursday night our lovely home of ten suffered a major loss when The Maqui Family headed out to the US & A to spend a couple of months. We hope they traveled safely and comfortably (especially Leche after all the butt beating from Nata), and wish to hear from them soon. We love you very much and will miss you dearly! We can't wait for your return date! Guys, all the best to you in the States, I hope you guys achieve everything you went out there to get.

TOMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was originally decided that private disputes would be taken to the back-house room, but...boxing brought in a whole different paradigm to the equation. In case you're wondering...Tina kicked some Leche butt!!!

THE THREE NEW STOOGES...ehehehe

Here we are...Sunset and Camden!!! Fresh and live from Brazil/Paraguay/Buenos Aires...

Arrived Saturday the 15th of March to a very eccentric and lively home in every possible way...hehe. The guys here did everything possible to receive us comfortably...we even had pillows already! Special thanks to the good old chap/bloke/being/fellow/specimen/hombre/mortal/earthling/Homo......(sapien!!!-what?) that waited for us two long hours at the terminal due to our late bus.
Currently settling in to the stage of transition...we'll keep you posted.

Housewarming

Today we had a housewarming Asado in the home, invited some friends from close by.

The food was great, much appreciated to all of those that helped to prepare it,
and Andrew for grilling.

It was an enjoyable day, 'thanks' to all of those that joined us.

Beautiful Yard

The grass is now transplanted and looking beautiful!

Always at competition with each other, 'Team 2' sitting in the middle of the completion of their task, while looking at the unfinished job of 'Team 1'.

Not many photos of painting being done, maybe we'll try to catch them off guard.

The reason why the painting of the house is not done yet is that, 'Team 1' also did the needed shopping for the extra beds, blankets, chairs etc. that we need for the three new people that just arrived as I speak.

Lei also helped to get their rooms ready by painting the baseboards.

Sexy Gardening

"He looked at the land, and saw that it was good."

Our new house came with nothing in the yard but lots of hard dirt. 'Team 2' (Andrew & Andres) had the job of getting the ground ready and transplanting grass.

A week or so after moving into this house, the grass has finally come.

As 'Team 2' worked, part of 'Team 1' (Juan & Pablo) stood back and watched.

After unloading the 129 square meters of grass...

...the transplanting of the first pieces took place.

This part of the 'fixing up' will definitely transform the property!

Introductory

As the administrator I thought I would do the honors of the initial post.
Welcome to our little blog, hope you will like it!
We are both odd but interesting individuals, and this should be entertaining in the least.
